Minds - These guys are really shaking things up. They've managed to catch the eyes of the big social networks because they may be a real threat.
Taklimakan network - is a site you can tell a lot of work went into. It's a bit more on the business end of things, and if you're someone who likes to write/blog you'll get the most out of it.
Take a look at both! If one really takes off, you'll be one of the cool people with an account created before it was trendy!
